High Definition Printing Comes To Baton Rouge.
by Anonymous
Baton Rouge, LA June 25, 2004 -- Kodak Polychrome selected Franklin Press to showcase the new technology because of its reputation as an industry leader in quality and innovation. In the past Franklin has had a number of other firsts – the first five-color press in the south, the first to use computer typesetting, ultraviolet inks and eliminate negatives.
Ernest Seals, Franklin’s President, commented, “The Kodak press now gives us the capability of printing from 1 to over 1 million and anything in between. It nicely fills the gap between our HP Indigo which prints short-run variable color data and our eight-color Sanden web press. Since marketplace trends are leaning more and more toward versioning and personalization, it was a natural fit for us.”
About Franklin Press, Inc. The company was founded in 1922 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It serves a wide range of firms nationwide with direct mail, printing, data management and Internet solutions.
