Ford Audio-Video to Host Olympic Games Opening Ceremony Watch Party in High Definition

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK August 4, 2004 -- Be the first to witness the most awe-inspiring images ever seen from the Olympic Games! Ford Audio-Video (FAV) and Emmy Award-winning manufacturer Digital Projection team together to bring you the latest in 720P High-Definition projection technology, never before seen in Oklahoma. FAV will host an Olympic Games Opening Ceremony watch party on Friday, August 13, at their corporate office located at 4800 West Interstate 40, Oklahoma City, OK 73128 (west of Meridian on the south service road). This event is free to the public and refreshments will be provided. The ceremony will be presented in high-definition utilizing the Mercury 5000HD and Lighting 35HD projectors and 5.1 surround sound.
   
With 4500 ANSI lumens and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, the Mercury 5000HD is the first of its kind in the commercial a/v market and is ideal for worship, retail, broadcast, command and control, education and public displays. Presentations magazine awarded the Lighting 35HD, which features 16,000 ANSI lumens and a 1600:1 contrast ratio, with a ‘Standing Ovation Award’ for best large-venue projector, and stated that “the (Lighting) 35HD is the brightest, most technologically awesome three-chip DLP projector available”. These projectors will be in use during the watch party Friday, August 13 and will be available for demonstration by appointment only during the week of August 16-20.
